I have been telling peoples' stories through words and pictures since 1993.
I worked as a newspaper reporter and as a photojournalist for one of Michigan's
largest newspapers for over a decade.
Through my years of interviewing, photographing and writing stories in the newspaper, I have developed a real passion for creating images that aren't just pictures of my clients, they tell the story of who my clients are.
Glamour Portraits by Lawrence Heibel Photography was born out of a desire to create for women collections of beautiful, romantic images that will, for years to come, remind her of her youthfulness, beauty, confidence, style and grace. These are not just "glamour portraits." I use a mix of fashion, photojournalism, glamour, boudour, artistic portrait and character study approaches to create the most beautiful portraits of my clients that tell the story they want to tell of who they are.
I am a member of the West Michigan Wedding Association (www.westmichiganweddingassociation.org) and of the Professional Photographers of West Michigan (www.ppwm.org).
